Stanbic IBTC Empowers Nigerian Youths Through DiSEP Initiative

Stanbic IBTC Holdings has successfully graduated the fourth cohort of its Digital Skills Empowerment Programme (DiSEP) and inducted the fifth cohort. This flagship initiative equips young Nigerians with digital and employability skills, helping them transition from academic training to modern workplace demands.

Opportunities for Nigerian Youths

The DiSEP 5.0 cohort, running until March 2026, focuses on inclusivity by encouraging participation from women and youths from Northern Nigeria. Participants gain advanced skills in high-demand areas such as:

  • C#
  • Software testing and automation
  • DevOps
  • Java

These competencies open doors to careers in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, quality assurance, and application development within Stanbic IBTC and other technology and financial services sectors.

How to Be Part of DiSEP

Nigerians can participate in the programme by:

  • Visiting the Stanbic IBTC website to apply for the next DiSEP cohort
  • Following Stanbic IBTC social media for updates on application deadlines
  • Preparing a CV and demonstrating interest in digital skills and technology

The programme provides hands-on training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help participants secure rewarding careers.

Inspiring Stories from Alumni
