The initiative, led by Chairman Edodi Eyong, provides useful business equipment such as deep freezers, generators, sewing machines, clippers and hair dryers. The programme is designed to promote self-reliance, job creation, and income generation across the LGA.
Reports indicate that beneficiaries are being selected across the 11 wards of Biase, with the programme particularly targeting youths, women and vulnerable residents. A recent announcement listed 68 shortlisted beneficiaries ahead of the distribution exercise.
