AFROVISION X 2026: How Nigerians Can Take Fashion, Film and Creative Talent to the Global Stage
Preparations are underway for AFROVISION X 2026, a month-long global festival celebrating African and Caribbean creativity. The event will run from June 1 to June 30, 2026, across Toronto, Brampton and Mississauga in Canada. Produced by Grandieu Inc., the festival will bring together creatives, investors, brands, governments and diaspora communities from around the world.
For Nigerians, this is more than a festival — it is a major opportunity to showcase talent, build global partnerships and access international markets.
Nigeria’s Strategic Role in the Festival
Nigeria is playing a leading role in AFROVISION X 2026. Inspiro Productions, led by Ayoola Sadare, is heading Nigeria’s activation, which began in January 2026. Planned activities include stakeholder engagements, sponsorship drives, creative community mobilisation, a Lagos-based international press conference, and the release of clear participation guidelines for creatives and exhibitors.
The timing is also strategic, as the festival coincides with the global World Cup period, increasing international visibility for Nigerian fashion designers, filmmakers, musicians and artists.
Festival Highlights and Key Dates
AFROVISION X covers multiple creative sectors:
Opening Ceremony (June 1): Cultural showcases, music and dance, fashion previews, film trailers and fireworks
Fashion Week (June 3–7)
Film Festival (June 9–14)
Arts, Theatre & Performing Arts (June 16–20)
World Music Week (June 21–27)

Why Creatives Should Pay Attention
Lead Convener David Bebiem said the festival is committed to presenting African and Caribbean creativity at world-class standards.
“Nigeria is not just participating — Nigeria is leading,” he noted.
“AFROVISION X is a global marketplace where Nigerian creatives can secure partnerships, funding, distribution deals and international exposure”. – Ayoola Sadare
A Call to Nigerian Creatives
