The Grooming People for Better Livelihood Centre has once again shown its commitment to supporting hardworking women. At the 14th edition of its annual Grooming Splash event in Lagos, the Centre rewarded 1,346 women with vital business tools to grow their small businesses.

According to CEO Dr. Godwin Nwabunka, the event was designed to recognize dedication and provide practical help to women micro-entrepreneurs. “Grooming Splash is one of the ways we support women. We also run scholarship schemes for their children and grants for undergraduate and postgraduate students,” he explained.

What Was Given and Who Benefited?

Women from Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Edo, Abia, Abuja, and other parts of Nigeria received items like:

    82 deep freezers

    58 5KVA generators

    58 large double-door refrigerators

    82 small double-door refrigerators

    106 3KVA generators

    480 150-litre coolers

    480 110-litre coolers

These items were distributed through a computer-generated raffle to ensure fairness. Each of the Centre’s 24 zones across 32 states and the FCT had 58 winners selected.
