INGRYD Partners ISACA to Train 40,000 Nigerians for Global Tech Jobs
With over 80% of young Nigerian tech talents lacking professional certifications, INGRYD Academy has launched a five-year initiative to train and certify 40,000 Nigerian youths in high-demand digital skills. The academy is partnering with ISACA, a globally recognised IT certification body, to make Nigerians globally competitive in the tech workforce.
What the Programme Offers
Under the initiative, a minimum of 2,000 Nigerians will be trained every quarter in various tech fields including:
Full-stack Software Engineering
Data Science with Python and R
Cybersecurity
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Blockchain and Cloud Computing
DevOps and Agile Product Management
IoT, IT Sales, and Data Analysis
Training lasts 3–6 months, is instructor-led (not self-paced), and includes daily live classes with certified professionals.
According to INGRYD CEO Khadijat Abdulkadir, the programme tackles certification barriers by offering discounted fees — $250 per ISACA certification, over 70% off global prices — and supports job placement and even visa processes when needed.
“The major challenge isn’t that our youths aren’t talented — it’s that they lack globally recognized certifications. We’re solving that gap,” – Khadijat Abdulkadir, CEO, INGRYD Academy.
