SIFAX Group Donates ICT Centre and Market to Ogun Communities

The people of Isade-Elero and Pampa-Isade in Ijebu North-East Local Government, Ogun State, now have access to a 100-seater ICT centre donated by SIFAX Group. This facility will help students, youths, and business owners learn digital skills such as computer literacy, online research, and business tools. To benefit, residents can enrol in ICT training programmes that will likely be introduced at the centre. These skills can open doors to better job opportunities and online businesses.

Supporting Local Businesses

Alongside the ICT hub, SIFAX Group also built 27 open market stalls to support small traders. These stalls provide a safe and structured place for selling goods, boosting income, and encouraging trade within the community. Interested traders can approach the community leaders or market authorities to apply for a stall. By using these stalls, traders will attract more buyers in an organized setting.

Strengthening Community Life

The company also donated a recreational facility, community security office, and central mosque to promote safety, relaxation, and spiritual growth. These facilities create an environment where people can thrive socially, physically, and spiritually. Families can use the recreation centre for leisure and youth activities, while the security post enhances safety.

“When communities are given the right tools like education, trade facilities, and safe spaces, they are empowered to create their own path to prosperity.”

A Commitment to Development

Speaking during the commissioning, the Chairman of SIFAX Group, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, said:

“SIFAX Group believes in social impact through infrastructural provision, human capital development and economic empowerment. This vision underlines the support we are providing for these communities today.”

This is not the first intervention by SIFAX in these communities. Past projects include a health centre, seasonal road works, and church buildings, all of which continue to improve lives.

The donation of the ICT centre, market stalls, and other facilities shows how private sector investments can uplift grassroots communities. Residents should take advantage of the ICT training for digital growth, use the market stalls for business expansion, and engage with the recreational and religious centres to improve their quality of life.
