As the world becomes more connected, Nigerians now have greater access to international scholarships, fellowships, grants, and remote jobs. Several organizations have opened applications for programmes that provide funding, training, mentorship, and career advancement opportunities.
Nigerian universities are being encouraged to move beyond dependence on government funding and embrace international grants, partnerships, and resource mobilisation as a long-term solution to underfunding. This was the key message at a recent workshop organised by the Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (CVCNU) in partnership with Optimal Delivery
