The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) has announced a $15 million grant to support 3,000 young entrepreneurs across 52 African countries as part of its 2025 Entrepreneurship Programme. This initiative provides African youths with access to capital, mentorship, and training to grow their businesses and contribute to economic transformation.
How Beneficiaries Will Benefit
Each selected entrepreneur will receive a non-refundable seed grant of $5,000 to either launch or scale their business. Additionally, they will gain access to:
Mentorship and Business Training: TEF offers structured business education and mentorship to help entrepreneurs navigate challenges and build sustainable enterprises.
Networking Opportunities: Beneficiaries become part of the TEFConnect platform, connecting them with a network of successful entrepreneurs, investors, and experts across Africa.
