FG Offers $100K Creative Economy Development Fund (CEDF) for Nigerians 

The Federal Government of Nigeria has launched the Creative Economy Development Fund (CEDF) 2025, aimed at empowering young Nigerians in the creative and cultural industries. This initiative provides large-ticket funding of up to $100,000 to help creative businesses grow, expand production, and access new markets. 

This fund is part of the government’s broader plan to turn Nigeria’s rich cultural talents into economic powerhouses. By investing in creatives, the government hopes to unlock the full potential of Nigeria’s booming creative sector and boost job creation. 

Who Can Apply? 

The CEDF is open to individuals, businesses, and institutions involved in any part of the creative and cultural economy. This includes: 

    Writers and publishers 

    Fashion designers and visual artists 

    Filmmakers and content creators 

    Gaming studios 

    Cultural tourism providers 

    Digital platforms and media agencies 

    Legal and logistics service providers 

    Creative training institutions 

Applicants must demonstrate how their business or project can scale up and positively impact the Nigerian economy.
