MTN Foundation Opens ICT & Business Skills Training for 3,000 Young Nigerian Women 

Free Business Training + Opportunity for Up to ₦1 Million Equipment Grant 

Young Nigerian women running small businesses can apply for the MTN Foundation ICT and Business Skills Training Programme – Phase 8. 

The five-week programme will train 3,000 female microbusiness owners in Rivers, Abia, Ogun, Kwara, Kano and Gombe States. Participants will receive practical digital, ICT and business skills, data support, instructor-led sessions, entrepreneur masterclasses and a capstone project. 

The top 100 participants can receive up to ₦1 million each in equipment grants from a ₦100 million fund. The grant is competitive and is not guaranteed for every participant. 

Who Can Apply? 

Applicants must: 

  • Be a Nigerian woman aged 18–35
  • Own and manage a microbusiness
  • Have operated the business for no more than two years
  • Have the business located in Rivers, Abia, Ogun, Kwara, Kano or Gombe State
