Fidelity Bank Celebrates Children’s Day with Scholarships and Literacy Awards

In celebration of Children’s Day 2025, Fidelity Bank Plc has taken a bold step toward supporting education and youth development by awarding scholarships and launching the Read2Lead Anthology—a book of essays written by young Nigerians. The event, themed “The Fidelity Fantasyland 3.0,” was held at the Fidelity Grounds in Oniru, Lagos.

Nurturing Future Leaders Through Literacy

The Read2Lead initiative is part of Fidelity Bank’s flagship literacy programme aimed at nurturing creativity, reading culture, and leadership skills among Nigerian students. Over 3,000 students participated in the competition, submitting essays on the theme “Naija Superheroes.” Thirty outstanding entries were published in the Read2Lead Anthology, showcasing the incredible imagination and storytelling abilities of Nigerian youth.

Each story was written in a superhero style, focusing on national pride, problem-solving, and community impact, highlighting the authors’ intellectual depth and moral values.

As part of the Children’s Day celebration, Fidelity Bank also awarded ₦150,000 scholarships to four exceptional pupils:

    Thiago Chukwudubem Agada

    Nabeela Nia Rufai

    Victory Alize Chukwuebuka

These pupils were selected through the Fidelity Savings Loyalty Scheme for their outstanding performance and commitment to learning.
