She pointed out that orphans and vulnerable children often face difficulties such as lack of family support, limited access to basic services, and exposure to exploitation. This meeting aimed to develop better strategies for providing sustainable solutions to these issues.

The Role of Partnerships

Oke-Osanyintolu explained that working across different sectors and strengthening partnerships are key to improving interventions for vulnerable children. By joining forces, stakeholders can ensure wider reach and better quality of care. She urged organizations to focus on collaborative approaches that prioritize the welfare of these children.

These tailored solutions will ensure each child has an opportunity for a brighter future.

A Shared Responsibility

Caring for orphans and vulnerable children is not just the government’s duty but a collective responsibility. By working together, individuals and organizations can help create a safer, healthier, and more supportive environment for these children. Lagos State has set an example by calling for action, but the work depends on everyone’s commitment.
