Nestlé Rebrands Product to Boost Nutrition and Affordability for Nigerians

In a move to enhance food accessibility and tackle nutritional deficiencies, Nestlé Nigeria has rebranded one of its products, reinforcing its commitment to affordable and healthy nutrition for Nigerians. 

Commitment to Affordable Nutrition 

Speaking at the launch, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Nigeria, Wassim Elhusseini, emphasized that the rebranding aligns with the company’s goal of making nutritious food available to all. He stated that Nestlé provides affordable food options to improve the well-being of Nigerians, especially in the face of rising food prices. 

Fortified for Better Health 

Omofasa Orhiunu, the category manager for dairy, highlighted that the revamped product has been fortified to support consumers’ nutritional needs while remaining budget friendly. 

“This product delivers essential nutrients while reducing the cost of enjoying a nutritious meal,” Orhiunu said. 

This development comes as many Nigerians struggle to access quality food due to inflation and economic challenges. By fortifying its products with key nutrients, Nestlé aims to support a healthier population without compromising affordability. 

Years of Research for Local Needs 

Nestlé revealed that the newly branded product, Golden Morn 3-in-1, was developed over two years at its in-house Research and Development Centre. The company ensured that the product was tailored to local nutritional needs while maintaining affordability.
