The Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has deployed 2,000 personnel across the state to ensure maximum security during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

The announcement was made in a statement released on Monday by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Habeeb Badamasi. According to the statement, the large-scale deployment is aimed at guaranteeing a peaceful, safe, and hitch-free festive period for residents and visitors across Kaduna State.

Officers Deployed to Prayer Grounds, Highways, and Public Areas

The Kaduna State Commandant, Panam Musa, disclosed that the deployment includes 120 senior officers and 1,880 rank-and-file officers strategically positioned across major locations in the state.

Security personnel have been assigned to:

Eid prayer grounds

Recreational centres

Major highways

Public gathering points

Strategic locations across Kaduna State

The command also directed Area Commanders and Divisional Officers to intensify surveillance operations and improve intelligence gathering within their jurisdictions.

“Operation Fushin Kada” Activated for Highway Patrol

As part of efforts to maintain peace and prevent criminal activities during the celebration, the NSCDC has activated special patrol operations under “Operation Fushin Kada.”

The operation is expected to strengthen highway monitoring and improve rapid response to security threats during the festive period.

“Special attention has been given to major prayer grounds, public gathering points, and highway patrols through Operation Fushin Kada,” the command stated.

The command further assured residents that it would continue collaborating with other security agencies to maintain law and order throughout the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Residents Urged to Remain Vigilant

The NSCDC urged Kaduna residents to remain law-abiding and security conscious by providing useful information to security agencies whenever suspicious activities are noticed.

Authorities believe that public cooperation will play an important role in ensuring a peaceful and successful celebration across the state.

The deployment of 2,000 NSCDC officers highlights the commitment of security agencies to protecting lives and property during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations in Kaduna State. With increased surveillance, highway patrols, and intelligence operations already in place, residents are hopeful for a peaceful and secure festive season.
