ROGEAP and Ecobank to Train 50 Solar Energy SMEs in Lagos and Abuja 

The Regional Off-Grid Electricity Access Project (ROGEAP), in partnership with Ecobank Nigeria, is set to empower 50 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the solar energy sector through a free three-day Entrepreneurship Business Training Workshop. The training will take place in Lagos and Abuja, focusing on equipping participants with essential skills to thrive in the fast-growing renewable energy industry. 

What the Training Offers 

The workshop will provide practical sessions on: 

    Understanding the ROGEAP structure and grant opportunities 

    Applications and benefits of off-grid solar systems 

    Quality assurance and compliance standards 

    Financial planning, business management, and technical training 

    Strategies for expanding market reach and attracting customers
