Step-by-Step Guide: How to Check Your 2025 JAMB UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which was conducted from April 24. Out of the 1,955,069 candidates who sat for the exam, only 420,415 scored above 200, while less than 1% scored above 300. 

Whether you scored above or below the benchmark, it’s important to know how to correctly access your results through the two official methods provided by JAMB. 

Method 1: Checking UTME Results Online via the JAMB Portal 

This method is recommended if you have access to internet service and want to print or screenshot your result. 

Steps: 

    Visit JAMB eFacility Portal: 

    Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/login 

    Login to Your JAMB Profile: 

    Enter the email address and password you used during your UTME registration. 

    Click on “Check UTME Results”: 

    Once logged in, find and click the “Check UTME Results” button on your dashboard. 

    View Your Scores: 

    Your subject-by-subject scores will be displayed on the screen. 

 Method 2: Checking UTME Results via SMS 

If you don’t have internet access, you can still check your result through SMS using any phone. 

Steps: 

    Open Your Messaging App: 

    Launch your phone’s SMS app. 

    Compose a New Message: 

    Type the word RESULT in capital letters, followed by your JAMB registration number. 

    Example: RESULT 202512345678AB 

    Send the Message: 

    Send the message to 55019 or 66019 (use the same SIM you used for registration). 

    Receive Your Score: 

    You’ll receive a reply with your scores. This service costs ₦50.

Important Notes: 

    Use only the phone number linked to your JAMB profile when using SMS. 

    If you encounter “No Record Found,” double-check your registration number or wait a few hours and try again. 

    Ensure you have at least ₦50 airtime before sending the SMS. 

    For underage or special candidates, JAMB will conduct additional evaluations before final placement.
