Talent Over Trends: Ayo Adesanya Advocates for Natural Gifts Over Artificial Enhancements

Veteran actress Ayo Adesanya
Veteran actress Ayo Adesanya has spoken out about the growing trend of artificial beauty in the entertainment industry. She expressed concern that cosmetic procedures, such as the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), have become more valued than natural talent.
In a recent interview, Adesanya noted, “These days, I realise that people take mundane things seriously. It is always the artificial that is selling. But if you check very well, there are still some people who are into originality. So, as an actor, it is left for you to decide what you want to do.”
She cautioned that while cosmetic procedures may seem popular now, they might not remain relevant in the long run. “A few years from now, that BBL may not work again. It’s going to shift. Change is constant. So, if you want to do BBL because you think it’s going to be better for you and you will make money, it’s on you.”
The Power of Talent Over Artificial Enhancements
Adesanya emphasized that true talent is more valuable than physical alterations. She urged individuals, especially young people, to focus on developing their skills rather than relying on trends. “When you have talent, artificial things like doing BBL will not move you because you know that your talent is more important than that BBL you want to do,” she stated.
Her perspective serves as a reminder that skills, creativity, and hard work outshine temporary beauty trends. The entertainment industry, like many other fields, ultimately values long-term abilities over fleeting appearances.
“True success comes from talent and hard work, not temporary trends. Invest in your skills, and your value will never fade.” – Ayo Adesanya
Staying Relevant Through Continuous Growth
When asked how she maintains her youthful appearance and relevance, Adesanya credited her openness to learning and working with the younger generation. “Nothing special though, aside from the fact that God has my back. Aside from that, I work with a lot of younger people. I don’t discriminate. I am ready to work with everybody, especially the younger generation. That has given me the spotlight that I am still savouring,” she explained.
Adesanya’s message highlights the importance of self-development over artificial modifications. In a world where social media and entertainment often promote unrealistic beauty standards, it is crucial to remind young people that their natural abilities and personal growth are what truly define them. Talent, hard work, and continuous learning remain the keys to success in any field.
