Bisola Ajimobi Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, has passed away at the age of 42. She reportedly died in the early hours of Thursday, March 27, in the United Kingdom. Her sudden demise has left many in shock, especially those who admired her contributions to public service and governance. 

A Dedicated Public Servant 

Until her passing, Bisola served as the Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu. She was known for her intelligence, dedication, and strong commitment to national development. Through her work, she contributed to policy formulation and implementation, helping to shape economic strategies in Nigeria. Her impact extended beyond her official role, as she was also a supporter of several charitable causes. 

A Painful Loss for the Ajimobi Family 

Her death comes as another painful blow to the Ajimobi family, following the passing of her father, Abiola Ajimobi, in 2020. The loss of both father and daughter within a few years is a reminder of the unpredictable nature of life. A former aide to the late governor, Bolaji Tunji, confirmed the news, stating, “Yes, it has been confirmed.” 

Bisola was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi and was a loving wife and mother. Her influence extended beyond politics, as she was also known for her warmth, kindness, and strong family values.
