Happy Woman Match Fund 2026: How Nigerian Women Entrepreneurs Can Access 50% Equipment Financing

What is the Happy Woman Match Fund?

The Happy Woman Match Fund is a new financing programme launched by Happy Woman Solutions Limited in partnership with Mayden Microfinance Bank to help women entrepreneurs purchase essential business equipment without paying the full cost upfront.

The initiative is designed to support women-led Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by reducing one of their biggest challenges—access to productive assets needed to expand their businesses.

“When women gain access to the right business tools, they don’t just grow businesses—they create jobs, support families, and strengthen the economy.”

Who Can Apply?

The programme is currently open to:

  • Women entrepreneurs operating small or growing businesses.
  • Eligible members of the Happy Woman community.
  • Applicants residing in Lagos or Abuja during the pilot phase.

Businesses in sectors such as tailoring, fashion, catering, beauty services, printing, and similar ventures are encouraged to apply.

How the Funding Works

The Match Fund follows a simple 50:50 model:

  1. Identify the business equipment you need.
  1. Save 50% of the equipment’s total cost.
  1. Apply through the Happy Woman Match Fund platform.
  1. After verification and approval, Mayden Microfinance Bank finances the remaining 50% as a loan
  1. Receive your equipment and repay the loan according to the agreed terms.

This arrangement allows entrepreneurs to access productive assets immediately instead of waiting months or years to save the full amount.

Application Deadline

As of the announcement, applications are currently open, but no official closing date has been announced. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible before the available slots are filled.
