NYSC Releases 2025 Batch A Stream I Postings, Cautions Corps Members Against Night Travel

Vital instructions for successful camp entry and safe journey shared by NYSC

Deployment Announced for 2025 Batch A Stream I

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially released postings for prospective corps members (PCMs) in the 2025 Batch A Stream I. This was made known through the NYSC’s official X (formerly Twitter) page on Monday.

PCMs who completed their online registration can now check their NYSC dashboard for details of their deployment.

Addendum Document Required for Camp Entry

In its announcement, the NYSC highlighted the importance of printing and signing the addendum document, which becomes available on the dashboard after registration. This document is crucial for entry into the orientation camp and must be presented during registration to avoid delays or disruptions.

The NYSC stated that some orientation camps now require the addendum for verification, so PCMs should ensure they complete this step before heading to camp.

Changes in Camp Locations for Some States

The NYSC also informed PCMs that certain deployments will involve attending orientation in neighbouring states. For example:

Some PCMs posted to Lagos will have their orientation in Ogun, Ondo, or Osun camps.

Those deployed to Abuja may be required to report to Nasarawa or Kaduna camps.

PCMs are therefore advised to check their call-up letters carefully to know their exact camp location.

“Your safety and smooth registration at the orientation camp are our top priorities. Please ensure you print your addendum and avoid travelling at night.”

Safety Advisory: Avoid Night Travel

As part of its safety measures, NYSC strongly advised all prospective corps members not to embark on night journeys to their orientation camps. Instead, they should plan their travel during the day to ensure their safety on the road.

As the 2025 Batch A Stream I corps members prepare for their national service, it is important to follow all official guidelines for a smooth and safe start. From printing the addendum document to checking camp locations and prioritising daytime travel, these steps are vital for successful camp entry and overall wellbeing.

Stay informed, stay safe, and get ready for the NYSC experience!
